The head of state made a trip to meet with national troops in the Donetsk region on Tuesday. The president confirmed that he met with fighters at the military base of the first unit of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is managing protective maneuvers in the Dobropillya zone, a location approximately a short distance from the city.

The national leader appealed to Washington to remain open to providing Ukraine with long-range weapons.
